Hillsboro Community Medic-cal Center recognized employees reaching years-of-service milestones for the year 2006 during the annual Christmas party Dec. 11.
Each of the employee received a “Certificate of Recognition” and a monetary gift for each year of service completed.
The following employees were recognized: Holly Ward, five years, Judy Hollingshead, 10 years, long-term care unit; Joni Breitling, five years, special care unit; Carol Leppke, 10 years, business office; Marsha Setzkorn-Meyer, 10 years, marketing; Tera Hiebert, five years, physical therapy; Sondra Bezdek, five years, housekeeping; Kathy Isaac, 10 years, lab; Shelby Dirks, 10 years, X-ray; Edith Unruh, 15 years, dietary; Geneva Wedel, five years, Ann Flaming, 25 years, acute-care nursing.
Two longtime HCMC employees retired in 2006. They were Esther Pankratz, after 16 years in central supply, and Verna Epp, after 33 years in the dietary department. Each of them received a small, engraved crystal vase.
