Peabody-Burns band to perform Dec. 21
The Peabody-Burns High School band will present its annual Christmas concert featuring “The Christmas Story” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, in Brown Gymnasium.
Soloist will be Beth Eldridge and narrator will be David Ragland of Peabody United Methodist Church.
Cottonwood church plans Eve services
Retired pastor Ray Franklin of Concordia will be the guest speaker at Cottonwood Valley Independent Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 24.
A special Christmas Eve service will follow at 4 p.m. with Chris Matthews, pastor of Smoky Valley Baptist Church in Lindsborg, as the guest speaker.
Hillsboro MB plans Christmas Eve event
Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church will host a Christmas Eve candlelighting service at 5 p.m. Dec. 24.
The event will be held in the lobby of the Wolgemuth Music Education Center on the Tabor College campus.
The public is invited to attend the service.
