Penner elected vice president of KAWG executive board

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN
Paul Penner of Hillsboro was elevated to vice-president of the executive board of the Kansas Association of Wheat Growers during its recent annual meeting.

The KAWG meeting was a part of the gathering of Kansas Wheat, the cooperative agreement between the Kansas Wheat Commission and the KAWG.

The Kansas Wheat meetings, in turn, were a part of the Kansas Commodity Classic, held in Salina, which included a number of Kansas commodity organizations.

The key part of the KAWG annual meeting is the development, discussion and adoption of policy resolutions that form an outline of the association’s position on issues expected to surface in the coming months affecting the Kansas wheat industry.
