Performance schedule of ‘Shenandoah’ adjusted for HHS football playoff game

Hillsboro High School will be presenting the musical “Shenandoah” this week in the high school auditorium.

Dates for the the show are Thursday, Nov. 9, Saturday, Nov. 11, and Monday, Nov. 13. Friday’s performance has been moved to Monday due to the football team continuing in its bid for a state championship.

The musical is set during Civil War America, and follows the fictional Anderson family and its struggle with the issues of war and slavery.

The following students are members of the cast.

Leads: Darren Enns, Adam Dirks, Aaron Stepanek, Tyler Suderman, Alysha Claassen, David Vogel, Alex Jost, Audrey Weinbrenner, Ben Heyen, Kale Arnold and Tyrell Thiessen.

Supporting actors: Michael Klaassen, Nolan Dirks, Jacob Fish, Jake Kenney, Jacob Edwards, Evan Just, Daniel Dick, Jerrod Rogers, Matt Richert, Daniel Dick, Abi Humber, Sara Jones, Meghan Jost, Cassie Kroeker, Maria Loewen, Caitlin Reimer, Elissa Richert, Jennifer Tucker, Kelsey Unruh, Jenny Whisenhunt and Anna Woelk.
