Sandefur, Friesen marry June 3

Amy Lee Sandefur and Justin Wayne Friesen, both of Salina, were married June 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Salina with Father Kerry Ninemire officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Kyle and Brenda Sandefur of Salina. The groom is the son of Wayne and Linda Friesen of Hillsboro.

The bride carried a bouquet of red roses and lilies. The church was decorated with a candelabra and red roses.

Maid of honor was Lindsey Van Nahmen of Salina. Best man was Chris Coryea of Ft. Worth, Texas.

Flower girl was Emma Soyez of Hillsboro. Ring bearer was Jacob Thiessen of Hillsboro.

Ushers were Jason Sandefur, Brian Quakenbush and Jason Brightbill, all of Salina.

Candlelighters were Brenda Sandefur and Linda Friesen. Musician was JoAnn Newton of Salina.

Gift carriers were Kirby and Kathy Rector of Hillsboro.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Red Coach Inn in Salina.

The bride graduated in 2000 from Salina High School South and in 2004 from Washburn University. She is employed as a tobacco prevention program coordinator with Central Kansas Foundation.

The groom graduated in 1999 from Hillsboro High School and in 2000 from Wyoming Technical Institute. He is employed with UPS preload and as an auto body technician with Conklin Cars.

The couple resides in Salina.
