Amanda McLinden and Anthony Gardner, both of Marion, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Tom and Audrey McLinden of Marion. She graduated in 1999 from Marion High School and is employed as a certified nursing assistant at St. Luke Living Center.
The groom is the son of the late Kenneth Gardner of Nebraska. He graduated in 1994 from Lincoln (Neb.) Southeast High School and is self-employed at Horse Shoe.
The wedding is planned for Nev. 4 at Marion Central Park.
