Melissa Sue Hunt and Andrew Leon Methvin were married Aug. 5 in the Oklahoma City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
H. Aldridge Gillespie, president and presiding authority at the temple, performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Ken and Cynthia Hunt of Tulsa, Okla., and Jack and Nancy Methvin of Lincolnville.
Grandparents of the bride are Harvey and Afton Tanner and Louis and Sally Hunt, all of Blackfoot, Idaho.
Grandparents of the groom are Lee Wagley of St. Luke Living Center in Marion and the late Fred Wagley of Many, La.
Formal receptions were held for the couple in Tulsa and Junction City.
The bride is a graduate of Jenks High School in Tulsa and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She is completing training as a physician’s assistant through the University of Utah medical school.
The groom is a graduate of Marion High School and is completing his master’s degree in accounting at the Marriott Business School at BYU. Following graduation, he will be employed by the international accounting form of KPMG in Denver, Colo.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hilton Head Island, S.C., the couple is living in Provo.
