Drake to lead Hesston’s Citizens State Bank

Richard Drake has been appointed president of the Hesston branch of Citizens State Bank, effective Aug. 7.

In his new role, Drake will oversee all local operations at Hesston. He has been with Citizens State Bank since 1994.

Prior to his banking career, Drake was an agricultural education instructor at Goessel High School for 15 years.

He serves on the USD 411 Board of Education and is chair of the Marion County Special Education Cooperative.

He also is past chair of the Bethesda Nursing Home endowment board, and is co-chair for Bethesda’s capital campaign.

Wear reaches director level with Mary Kay

Dana Wear, Marion, recently achieved the status of independent sales director for Mary Kay Inc., one of the world’s largest direct sellers of skin care and color cosmetics.

Currently, there are more than 31,000 Mary Kay independent sales directors worldwide.

“Dana’s extraordinary vision and enthusiasm has enabled her to achieve this honor of independent sales director,” said Gary Jinks, Mary Kay Inc. senior vice president of sales.”
