Hillsboro 12-&-under softball team wins state qualifier

The Hillsboro Hotrods, a 12-&-under girls’ softball team, won the ASA Region III Class C state-qualifier tournament in McPherson this weekend. The team, which went 4-0 for the tournament, claimed the title with a 6-5 win over Great Bend Quicksilver in the finals.
