Tabor offering track and field camp June 12-13

Tabor College track and field coach Dave Kroeker is offering a camp June 12-13 on the Tabor campus.

Athletes who will be in high school this fall are invited to attend the camp, which features individual training in specific events.

On Monday, athletes can choose from three sessions: 5 p.m., long jump, triple jump, speed; 6:45 p.m., shot put, hurdles, high jump, javelin; 8:30 p.m., strength training.

On Tuesday, three more sessions will be offered: 8:45 a.m., shot put, hurdles; 10:30 a.m., discus, long jump, triple jump, speed; 1:15 p.m., high jump, javelin, speed.

The cost to participate is $40 for a single event and $75 for two or more events.

Kroeker, his staff and Tabor athletes will provide video analysis for campers.
