The Goessel golf team placed second at the regional tournament in Pretty Prairie on Friday, May 19, to earn a trip to Winfield for the state golf tournament.
Pretty Prairie finished first.
Medalists for the Bluebirds were Zach Frey, who finished fifth with an 84 and Nate Ensz seventh with a 92.
Also competing for the Bluebirds were Derek Brown (94), Cameron Voth (102), Alex Drake (102) and Jake Schrag (104).
