The Hillsboro Middle School Band received a II+ rating on a scale of I to III at the Mid-Central Activities Association league band contest Tuesday in Marion.
Two soloists, Matthew Wiebe and Sarah Unruh, received a I rating. Evan Just and Justin Houser received II+ ratings.
Percussion Ensemble received a I and the Flute Ensemble, Clarinet Ensemble and Brass Ensemble each received a II+ rating.
Gregg Walker directs the middle school instrumental music program.
