ANNIVERSARIES- Hills to mark 50 years of marriage

Marvin and Barbara Yeagley Hill of Hillsboro celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception March 18 in the Scout House at Hillsboro’s Memorial Park.

The couple were married March 15, 1956, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. He is retired from Dairy Farmers of America in Hillsboro and she is a homemaker.

Family, relatives and friends were invited to the reception, which was hosted by their children and grandchildren: Joe and Barbara Alvarez of Hillsboro and their children Kane and Laci Adams of Wilkes Barre, Pa.; Daryl and Leslie Schlesener of Herington and their children Darren and Beth Schlesener and Rachel of Herington; Justin and Dena Hall and daughter Clara of Colwich; Curtiss Schlesener of Herington; Terry Hill of Hillsboro; and Greg and Robin Plenert and their children Dusten and Callie of Hillsboro.

The Hills have three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two step-great- grandchildren.
