Goddard students visit Grannie’s Mustard plant

Eugene Hein (gesturing) explains the way Grannie’s Mustard is made and marketed to about 39 students from Goddard on Friday morning. The students visited the home-based mustard-making company about four miles northwest of Hillsboro on Friday morning. Among the listeners is “Grannie” herself, Lydia Hein (far left), and her husband Emice (seated), who showed the students how the plastic bottles are filled for shipping.
