Dwight Beckham played a trumpet solo and the men’s chorus sang two selections. Pat Black, elder from Newton’s St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, gave the prayer of dedication and led the doxology.

The responsive reading was led by Melissa Ramos, associate pastor of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Wichita.

Mike Lange, father of Jeremiah Lange, gave the tribute-sending message from their home church, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Tucson, Ariz.

Don Owens, Wichita, past moderator of Presbytery of Southern Kansas, presided over the installation. Jim Assink, clerk of session, assisted.

After the service, a reception was held in the Fellowship Hall. Janis Maggard, chairperson of the worship committee, presented a white clerical stole to Jeremiah as a gift from his parishioners.
