Peabody kids qualify for nat’l BPA event

Three of the 16 Peabody-Burns students in the school’s Business Professionals of America chapter who competed in the state leadership conference in Wichita qualified for national competition, to be held May 10-14 in Orlando, Fla.

Jesse Riggs took first place in medical office procedures and second in management/marketing/ human resource concepts; Andrew Topham took second in information tech concepts, second in digital media and fourth in banking and finance; and Laura Hoffman took third in graphic design promotion.

Other students who placed at the conference were Ben Eldridge, Nick Hintz, Danyel Kallansrud, Seth Methvin, Jake Middleton, Jennifer Schmeling, Jarred Weems, Rachel Womack and Joe Zappone.
