Workers with G&G Dozer of Caney began razing the former Vogts IGA building on East Grand Ave. last Wednesday. The building, now owned by the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, is being removed in preparation to sell the lot. The building was started in 1932 by the Frank D. Vogt family as a grocery store and creamery. The family enterprise, now in its fourth generation, moved several years ago to Hillsboro Heights.
