Jera Ranae Teselle, Downs, has signed letters of intent to participate in the Tabor College cross-country and track and field programs next year.

“Jera is a strong addition to the cross-country program,” cross-country coach Karol Hunt said. “She will have an immediate impact and will add depth to the team.”

Teselle ran at the state cross-country meet all four years of high school and earned All-American honors her junior year.

Dave Kroeker, track and field coach, said Teselle will also help build a championship track program, too.

“Jera will bring a great competitive spirit to our track team,” he said. “She is also a great student and a fine Christian young woman who will be a real positive influence on our campus.”

She competes in the 800 meters, 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters relays, and competed in the 3,200 meters at the state track meet her freshman and sophomore years.
