A special effort for special basketball teams from three counties

Tony Eaves of McPherson Gold shoots for two points during the opening game of the Special Olympics tournament held Saturday on the Tabor Campus. His team is playing the Reno County Blue team. Teams also participated from Harvey County. The teams were formed into divisions according to game experience needed before they compete in the Kansas Special Olympics State Tournament in March. For more than 20 years, Tabor College faculty and students and the Hillsboro Kiwanis Club have hosted this regional event.
