One Fabulous Facelift

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN
An estimated 300 well-wishers inspected the new digs at Hillsboro Community Medical Center during a Sunday afternoon open house. The celebration marked the completion of the hospital’s $500,000 project to build a new entrance to the facility and remodel the front office area. The project was funded mostly by private donations made with an incentive of receiving state tax credit for the gift. Some city and hospital funds were also used. LOWER LEFT: Wendy McCarty (maroon shirt), human resources manager at HCMC, chats with visitors Amy Klein and Craig Roble of Hillsboro in the new lobby area. BELOW: Administrator Mike Ryan thanks Hillsboroans Linda and Art Jantz for coming.
