Tax-break help on simple tax forms, food sales tax and homestead refunds will be available by appointment on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Hillsboro Senior Center. Call for an appointment between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Games, gab and goodies will fill the center on Jan. 25. Bring friends and games; a snack is served at 3 p.m.

Kansas Day will be observed on Friday, Jan. 27. Luncheon guests will take part in a Kansas quiz.

The January birthday dinner is planned for Monday, Jan. 30. Following the meal, the video “The Flint Hills of Kansas” will provide the program.
