Hilda Hein, 81

Hilda Hein, 81, housewife, died Dec. 22 in Wichita.

The service was Dec. 27 at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with pastor Dave Plett officiating. Burial was in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery in Hillsboro.

She was born May 5, 1924, to Edward Suderman and Martha Seibel Suderman in Hillsboro. In 1944 she was married to Ira Hein, who survives in Hillsboro.

She is also survived by a son, Rodney and Susan Hein of Hillsboro; a sister, Adena Schmidt of Fresno, Calif.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

William Huth, 59

William H. Huth, 59, Cessna Aircraft machinist, died Dec. 20 at his home in Wichita.

A private family service was held.

He was born to Fred and Ethel Huth, who predeceased him.

He is survived by a brother, John and wife Agnes Metsch of Ogden; a sister, Ruth and husband Duane Sheridan of Peabody; one nephew and two nieces.

Hilda Ratzloff, 84

Hilda Ratzloff, 84, housewife, died Dec. 20 at Salem Nursing Home in Hillsboro.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with pastor Tim Kliewer officiating. Burial was in Johannestal Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.

She was born May 27, 1921, to Peter Hiebert and Aganetha Schmidt in Goessel. In 1942 she was married to Sam Ratzloff, who predeceased her in 2000.

She is survived by a daughter, Lola Salisbury of Federal Way, Wash.; a sister, Susie Lohrentz of Newton and one granddaughter.

Memorials have been established with Trinity Mennonite Church and Hospice Care of Kansas.

Sarah Winter, 92

Sarah Winter, 92, homemaker, died Dec. 22 in Hillsboro.

The service is at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 28, at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro, pastor Dave Plett officiating. Burial is at 10 a.m. in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.

She was born May 8, 1913, to Abraham Plett and Tina Klassen Plett in Marion County. In 1942 she was married to Harry Winter, who predeceased her in 1996.

She is survived by a son, Charles Winter of Simi Valley, Calif.; a daughter, Carol Hicks of Hillsboro; two brothers, Victor Plett of Takoma, Wash., and Harold Plett of Fullerton, Calif.; two sisters, Edna Widmer of Julian, Calif., and Elsie Young of San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Building Fund.
