Deer Trail Implement adds new employees

Growth in its business has prompted Deer Trail Implement in Marion to add several new employees to its team in recent months.

Steve Wear, formerly the store manager, has assumed responsibility for direct sales and new customer development at Deer Trail-Marion. He and wife Dana live in Marion.

Tim Stevenson of Waterville has assumed the position of store manager and the will manage the day-to-day operations at Deer Trail-Marion. Stevenson comes to Deer Trail from Krause Plow Corp. He currently lives in Salina but plans to relocate to Marion.

Uri Miller joined the Deer Trail-Marion team in June as customer-support representative. Miller and wife Connie and their three children, Leah, Julie and Ethan currently live at Inman.

Sarah Horinek of Marion joined the parts department in May.

Todd Carpenter, Nathan Grivy, and Justin Sommerfeld recently assumed positions as technical specialists in the service department.

Carpenter and wife Diane, along with sons Levi and Dillion, are of rural Marion. Grivy and wife Brandy are from Omaha, Neb., while Sommerfeld and wife Carrie are from Hugoton.

The Grivy and Sommerfeld families will be relocating to the Marion area in the near future.

Brad Pagenkopf has been named service manager at the Marion location. He, wife Amy and children Braden and Garhett are of Lincolnville.
