The Marion Warriors and Hillsboro Starz were among the 23 teams that competed in last Saturday’s annual Youth Basketball Tournament. Directed by the Hillsboro Recreation Commission, the one-day tournament at Hillsboro Schools’ gyms included brackets for 4th-grade boys, 5th- through 6th-grade boys, 4th-grade girls, 5th-grade girls and 6th-grade girls. Other competing teams came from Salina, Great Bend, Wichita, McPherson, Buhler, Burlington, Abilene, Brookville, Inman, Wellington, Newton and Hutchinson.
