The deadline for signing up to particiapte in the JAM youth basketball program in Hillsboro is Nov. 21.
JAM is open to boys and girls in grades one through sixth who attend Unified School District 410.
Under the supervision of Hillsboro High School boys’ coach Darrel Knoll and girls’ coach Melissa Stenfors, JAM will run from Saturday, Dec. 3, through February.
The program is designed to introduce basketball fundamentals in an instructional and fun way.
The cost is $35 per student or $70 for two or more students. The fee includes a JAM shirt and a JAM Glow-ball basketball.
