to marry Nov. 19

Melissa Brunner of Tampa and Phillip Florey of Hutchinson announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Rita and Jesse Brunner of Tampa. She graduated in 1994 from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and in 1998 from University of Missouri in St. Louis with a master’s degree in elementary administration. She is employed as a K-6 computer instructor at Southeast of Saline in Gypsum, an emergency medical technician for Marion County in Tampa and a summer park ranger with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Marion Reservoir.

Her fiance is the son of Wanda Florey of Vienna, Ill., and the late Delbert Florey. He graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale with bachelor’s degrees in aviation management and history. He is a sergeant in the U.S. Marines and an airport manager at the Hutchinson Airport.

The wedding is planned for Nov. 19 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Tampa.

Suderman, Andrews to wed in October

Nadine Suderman of Overland Park and Jerry Suderman of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey, to Desmond D. Andrews, son of Debra Baldwin and David Andrews, both of Coffeyville.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Pittsburg State University with a bachelor of science in education. She works as a kindergarten teacher for Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Ill.

Her fiance is also a 2002 graduate of PSU, with a bachelor of science in mathematics. He received his master of science in mathematics in 2003. He works as an actuarial assistant for Allstate Insurance in Northbrook, Ill.

The couple plan to marry in October at St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.
