Open house Sept. 25
for Ratzloffs’ 60th
Eugene and Jean (Decker) Ratzloff will celebrate their 60th anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at the senior center in Canton.
They were married Sept. 23, 1945, in Canton.
Their children and spouses are James and Mary Ratzloff of Wheatridge, Colo., Donald and Janet Ratzloff of Monroe, N.C., Jeanie Sue of Fall River and daughter-in-law Barbara Nuss of Topeka. A son, Gayland, died in 1977. They have nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The couple request no gifts.
Reception Oct. 2 for Richmonds’ 50th
A reception for family and friends of Ralph and Wanda (Propp) Richmond of Marion will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married Oct. 2, 1955, at Valley Methodist Church. Ralph has worked as a farmer and machinist for Marion Die and Fixture. Wanda has been a homemaker, foster parent and cake decorator.
The reception and a card shower is hosted by their children, Rhonda Schinnerer and Rodney and wife Diane Richmond, both of Marion, and Randall and wife Ramona Richmond of Herington; and five grandchildren.
