Soccer club offers clinic for coaching

The Marion County United Soccer Club will sponsor a coaching clinic in Hillsboro for people interested in helping coach youth soccer in Marion County.

The clinic will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 28 at the Hillsboro Elementary Soccer Field on the north side of the school.

Participants will be instructed by Rob Herringer, men’s soccer coach for Benedictine College and director of coaching for the Kansas State Youth Soccer Association.

The cost of the clinic will be $30 per person.

The Youth Module Clinic is open to anyone, regardless of whether they have children playing soccer.
