In what’s become almost as traditional as the derby itself, familiar names dominated the final standings in this year’s Marion County Fair Demolition Derby.

Matt Foth claimed top honors and was joined in second place by his brother, Brad Foth. Capturing third was Phillip Terrel, followed by Scott Schultz in fourth and Chris Monares in fifth.

Heat winners were Matt Foth, Monares, Rodney Oursler and Russel Klenda.

Eric Dutton took top honors in Consolation Heat No. 1 while Brad Foth won Consolation Heat No. 2.

Dennis Rundquist received the Mad Dog Award.

This year, compact cars competed for the first time. Kevin Brandt won the heat in his 1980 Ford Pinto. Second place went to Dean Suderman, driving a 1975 Mercury Bobcat. Travis Schafers took third in a 1974 Ford Maverick.
