Hillsboro Recreation to offer recreational gymnastics

The Hillsboro Recreation Commission will be offering recreational gymnastics again this fall.

Each of the six-week sessions will be instructed by Cheri Marsh in the west room of Hillsboro City Hall, 118 E. Grand.

Designed for children age 4 through sixth grade, classes will consist of between five and 10 students and meet either Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Registration is $34 for the first child in a family, $27 for the second and $80 for a family of three or more.

Boys are encouraged to wear running pants, shorts and sweats, while girls should dress similarly or in a leotard. Those with long hair will need to pull it back.

Session I will run from Aug. 30 through Oct. 6, Session II from Oct. 11 through Nov. 17, Session III from Jan. 10 through Feb. 16 and Session IV from Feb. 21 through a date to be announced.

Participation fees are due by Aug. 12, payable to Marsh.
