Vickie Christine Ensz of Goessel and Vincent Lee Schroeder of Hillsboro announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is a bookkeeper for Graber Plumbing and Heating in Newton.

Her fiance is the groundskeeper at Tabor College in Hillsboro.

The couple will be married July 30 at Goessel Mennonite Church.

Wedel, Farrington

to wed Aug. 20

Dennis and Linda Wedel of Canton announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Koren Wedel, to Chris Farrington, son of Warren and Kathy Farrington of Hoisington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lorraine Havlik of Marion, the late Frank Havlik, Irby Wedel of Canton and the late Lucille Wedel. She is a graduate of Canton-Galva High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fort Hays State University. She is employed by Lambdin, Soderberg and Lambdin Law Firm in Wichita.

Her fiance is the grandson of Betty and Bob Pettigrew of Wellington. He is a graduate of Hoisington High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fort Hays State University. He is employed by McKenzie Scott Partners Client Services in Denver, Colo.

The couple will be married Aug. 20 at Lakeside Park in McPherson.

Townsend, Cunningham to wed Aug. 14

Latasha Townsend of Hillsboro and David Cunningham of McPherson announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the couple are Samuel and Rosie Townsend and Barbara and the late Lou Cunningham.

The bride-elect is a native of Mississippi and a graduate of Tabor College. She is employed at PrairieView in Marion.

Her fiance earned his bachelor’s degree from Kentucky Wesleyan and his master’s from Western Kentucky University. He is employed as a football coach at McPherson College.

The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. Aug. 14 at McPherson Church of the Brethren. Invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.

The couple will reside in McPherson.
