Cosmosphere director will describe Hutchinson attraction at final Learning in Retirement session

Tom Holcomb, Hutchinson, will present “Come to the Cosmosphere” at the April 25 session of the 60+ Learning in Retirement Program.

This session, the last one of the spring semester, will begin at 10 a.m. in the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center located on the Tabor College campus.

Holcomb, planetarium director at the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, works extensively with various camps and Boy Scout programs, and is the presenter for many of the Cosmosphere’s experiential programs, including the Future Astronaut Training Program, Elderhostel Astronaut Training Program, Adult Astronaut Adventure, Investigate Space and Mars Academy.

He also works with outreach programs at schools and helps to develop programs to educate the public on space-related topics.

Older adults are invited to attend. The cost to attend is $4, but first-time visitors will be admitted free of charge. Discount lunch cards will be available at the door.
