Jennifer Ann Bergen of Goessel and Roger Craig Adams of Kenton Hills, Ky., were married Jan. 19 at Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, with Darr Conradson officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dan and Joyce Bergen of Goessel and Beverly Adams of Kenton Hills.

Maid of honor was Kim Bergen, sister-in-law of the bride. Best man was Greg Bergen, brother of the bride.

The bride wore an ivory satin halter a-line gown with a flower at the waist and a sweep train. The shoulder-length veil was trimmed in beaded lace, and the beaded headpiece was from her mother’s wedding veil.

She borrowed a strong of pearls from her mother-in-law and wore pearl earrings that had belonged to the groom’s grandmother.

A reception will be held May 7 at the Ramada Inn in Manhattan.

The bride earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from Kansas State University. She is employed as youth services manager at Manhattan Public Library.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Northern Kentucky University and a master’s in library science from the University of Kentucky. He is an associate professor at Kansas State University Libraries.
