Jeanie Klaassen, Edmund, Okla., will present “Preserving Your Past through Photos” at the Feb. 21 session of the 60+ Learning in Retirement Program.

The session will begin at 10 a.m. in the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center at Tabor College.

Klaassen became a Creative Memories consultant in 1999 because of the rewards she found in sorting through pictures of her own children.

“I wanted to help other older women experience the same joy I was having,” she said.

Klaassen will share information about organizing photographs. Her presentation will be based on a class she teaches to older adults at St. Luke’s School of Continuing Education in Oklahoma City.

Klaassen graduated from Tabor College in 1962. Currently, she is active in music and Christian education ministries at Edmund Mennonite Brethren Church.

Older adults are invited to attend. Enrollment is $15 per person a semester, $28 per couple or $4 a session. In an effort to encourage participation, first-time visitors will be admitted free of charge.

Registration and discount lunch cards will be available at the door.
