McFaddens mark 25th with celebration
Byron and Carol McFadden will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 30, at the Hillsboro Scout House.
They were married Jan. 19, 1980, in Herington.
Byron is employed with Horizon Milling of Newton. Carol is employed in the dietary department at Hillsboro Community Medical Center.
The couple have three sons, Larry Mein and friend Donna Wilson of Cottonwood Falls, Gerald Mein of Herington and Allen Mein of Des Moines, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.
Extended family includes Brian, Jennifer and Aaron Land of Abilene and Chelsea and Jacob Wilson of Cottonwood Falls.
Family and friends are invited, and the couple requests no gifts.
Andusses celebrate
50th anniversary
Reign and Marlene (Gaede) Anduss of Ramona will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Peabody Senior Center.
The were married Jan. 21, 1955, in Newton. The couple are semiretired and operate the Ramona Cafe.
The event is hosted by their children Connie Baker and husband David of Argonia, Marsha Jarrell of Peabody and Roxan Toppings of Newton. They have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
