Tabor pianists to perform Oct. 12.

Tabor College students, recent alumni and faculty will present a “Piano Extravaganza” of piano duets and piano duos Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Each selection will feature at least two pianists performing songs written or especially arranged for that combination.

Students performing include: Robbin Ludwig, Maize; Malia Rouse, Papillion, Neb.; Elise Penrose, Bakersfield, Calif.; Andrew Braun, North Newton; Angie Buller, Ingalls; Jennifer Hope, McPherson; Emily Busenitz, Newton; Amber Willcox, La Veta, Colo.; Jessica Holler, Ingalls; Kerry Stepanek, Hillsboro; Jody Herwig, Salina; Abby Loewen, Huron, S.D.; Amy McDaniel, Ulysses; Kyla Gaeddert, Cordell, Okla.; Sharon Toews, Hesston; Mary Kliewer, Newton; Ashley Schmidt, Wichita; Annie Armbruster, Lindsborg; and Rachel Foote, Bethany, Okla.

The performance will also feature recent Tabor alumnae Carmen Goering, Newton, and Jennifer Epp, Hillsboro, as well as Tabor faculty members Sheila Schmitt, assistant professor of piano and piano pedagogy, and Bruce Heyen, professor of chemistry.

The extravaganza will begin at 7 p.m. in the Tabor College Chapel-Auditorium. The public is invited to attend.
