Ed Grimwood, 86

Edward D. Grimwood, 86, owner of Grimwood and Son Hardware and Farm Supply store, died Sept. 15 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
The funeral was Sept. 18 at Burns United Methodist Church with pastor Jim Bush officiating. Burial with a Masonic graveside service and military honors was at Burns Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 21, 1918, to Graham and Ruth (Dwelle) Grimwood in Cedar Point. On Nov. 19, 1943, he was married to Betty Durbin, who predeceased him in 1999.
He is survived by two sons, Charlie Grimwood and wife Pat of Salina and Tom Grimwood and wife Nedy of Burns; one sister, Eleanor Davidson of Florence; and two grandsons.
A memorial has been established with Burns United Methodist Church in care of Zeiner Funeral Home of Marion.

Jessica Ann Perry, 26

Jessica Ann Perry, 26, surgical technician employed by Salina Regional Hospital, died Sept. 17 at her mother’s home in rural Marion.

The memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion with pastor Larry Weatherman officiating. A private inurnment will be held at Walton Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 1, 1978, in Great Bend.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Judy and Tim Hiebert of Marion; her father, Bret Perry of Lyons; one brother, Joshua Hiebert of Marion; one sister, Rebecca Perry of Wichita; and grandparents Elvis and Frances Slaughter of Stratford, Okla., and Marilyn Hiebert of Walton.

Memorials have been established with the Leukemia Society, Central Homecare & Hospice and the Bell & Star Fund at Lyons.
