plan March nuptials

Paul and Linda Harden of Ashland announce the engagement of their daughter, Cindy Harden, to Jonathan Denning, son of Dan and Cheryl Denning of Herington.

Grandparents are Al and Aletha Denning of Hays, Ken and Ruth Siebert of Ulysses, Willis and Velmarie Harden of Ashland and Leonard and Audrey Mullenix of Roswell, N.M.

The bride-elect earned a degree from Tabor College in 2002 and plans to earn her master’s degree in English literature at Kansas State University in the fall. She is working at K-State with academic assistance as a study-lab coordinator and writing tutor.

The groom-to-be is studying computer science at K-State while working on expanding his business and developing new software programs.

The couple will be married March 26 in an outdoor ceremony near Ashland.

Reynolds, Plett

to wed April 16

Jerry and Rowena Plett of Lincolnville and Daniel and Mary Reynolds of Formoso announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Jason Daniel Plett and Amy Lou Reynolds.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Pike Valley High School in Scandia and earned an associate’s degree in business from Cloud County Community College in Concordia. She is employed as purchasing administrative assistant with Golden Heritage Foods in Hillsboro.

The groom-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Centre High School. He is engaged in farming with his brother and father and is employed by Gorges Dairy in Hillsboro.

The couple will be married April 16 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Belleville.

McMannis, Larson

plan Dec. 18 wedding

Rebecca Jo McMannis and Sonny Larson announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Their parents are Dave and Tonya McMannis of Canton and Ed and Susie Larson of Little River.

Grandparents are William and Shirley Vogts and Charlie and Jean McMannis, all of Canton; James and Juanita Stewart of Piqua, Ohio; and Betty Larson of New Richmond, Wisc.

The bride-elect graduated from Canton-Galva High School. She earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Kansas Wesleyan University. The groom-to-be graduated from Little River High School.

The couple is self-employed in the trucking industry.

A Dec. 18 wedding is planned at Canton United Methodist Church.
