Reimers to celebrate

70th anniversary

Karl C. and Rachel (Banman) Reimer of Goessel will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Sept. 8.

The couple were married
Sept. 8, 1934, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church of Goessel with pastor Peter H. Unruh officiating.

They have lived in the Hillsboro and Goessel area all their lives.

The Reimers have three daughters, Darlene Schmidt and husband Arlo of rural Newton; Ruth Yeager and husband Dennis of Santa Barbara, Calif.; Velma Schuessler of Sedgwick, whose late husband is Max Schuessler.

The couple have eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to mark the occasion by sending cards and letters or paying the couple a visit. They reside at Bethesda Home, 408 E. Main, Goessel, KS 67053.
