Lula Holt, 101

Lula Holt, 101, homemaker, died July 10 at St. Luke Living Center in Marion.

The graveside service and burial was July 13 at Highland Cemetery in Iola with pastor Larry Timm officiating.

She was born Feb. 24, 1903, to Charlie and Lillie (Murl) Looney in Thornfield, Mo. On Jan. 23, 1943, she was married to Leo Holt, who predeceased her in 1965.

She is survived by nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.

A memorial has been established with St. Luke Living Center.

Janice L. Koehn, 73

Janice L. Koehn, 73, homemaker, died July 3 at Memorial Hospital in McPherson.

The graveside service was July 9 at Canton Township Cemetery with Blythe Sawyer of McPherson First Congregational United Church presiding.

She was born Aug. 25, 1930, to Roy and Edith (Minear) Anderson in McPherson. She was married to Elvin W. Koehn, who predeceased her.

She is survived by one daughter, Janelle Lamb of Arlington, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established with Angel Arms of McPherson in care of Olson’s Mortuary in Canton.
