Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marion County hosted its fourth annual golf tournament on Saturday at the Hillsboro Municipal Golf Course. Eighteen teams competed in the three-person scramble.
Winning the championship flight with a score of 59 were Scott O’Hare, Anthony Thiessen and Phillip Thiessen.
Following them were: Pat Bartel, Bruce Bartel and Ken Johnson (61); Dale Mayfield, Derek Mayfield and Jerry Hess (62); and Joey Jackson, Frank Stucky and Jay Schwien (64).
Winning the first flight was the team of Russ Cain, Dave Watson and Mark Stockman with a score of 65.
Following them were: Ronn Coats, Justin Kent and Lonny Kent (65); Harold Schultz, Roger Fleming and Harvey Ray (65); Gene Winkler, Bryan Hess and Dave Shiplett (66); and Christopher Costello, Gerald Henderson, and David Mayfield (66).
Taking top honors in the second flight was the team of John Bellah, Chip Ferguson and Chris Hattabaugh with a score of 67.
Following them were Todd Winter, Dusty Hett and Jason Schroeder (70); Rodger Hannaford, Mitch Carlson and Randy Kelsey (71); and Roger O’Neal, Tyler Litton and Brandon Crabtree (75).
Earning top honors in the third flight was the team of Tom Alstrom, Joel Klaassen and Don Wipf with a score of 78.
Following them were: Michael Soyez, Josh Whitwell and John Whitwell (79); Harvey Sanders, Scott Mayfield and John Danier (80);Judy Kelly, Jenny Gehring and Judy Brenzikofer (80); and Jeff Soyez, Kent Richmond and Dean Keyes (86).
Winning individual prizes were Mark Stockman for longest putt, Phillip Thiessen for longest drive, and Ken Johnson for closest to the pin.
