Sept. 4 wedding

Stephanie Joy Klenda and Christopher Robert Byer, both of Plainville, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Their parents are Stephen and Tamara Klenda of Lincolnville and Les and Celia Byer of Marion.

The bride-elect attended Fort Hays State University and is employed with Southeast Kansas Independent Living Resource Center of Western Kansas in Hays.

The groom-to-be graduated from Manhattan Area Technical College and is employed with Penco Engineering in Plainville.

The couple will be married Sept. 4 at St. John Nepomucene Church of Holy Family Parish in Pilsen.

Lancaster, Kuhlman

to wed Aug. 14

Elizabeth Lancaster and Kevin Kuhlman announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Their parents are David and Mary Lancaster of Hillsboro and Dan and Marilyn Kuhlman of St. Louis.

The bride-elect earned a degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Truman State University in Missouri. She is employed at Target in St. Louis.

The groom-to-be earned degrees in journalism and justice systems from Truman State University. He is attending law school at Washington University in St. Louis.

The couple will be married Aug. 14 at Durham Baptist Church.

Jost, Loewen set

July 17 wedding date

Clyde and Sharon Jost and Charlie and Mary Loewen, all of Hillsboro, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Dionne Jost and Jeremy Loewen.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Hillsboro High School and plans to earn a degree in elementary education at Tabor College in the fall.

The groom-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Hillsboro High School. He attended Tabor College and plans to transfer to Kansas State University to complete a degree in mechanical engineering.

The couple will be married July 17 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.
