Funk, Anderson set Sept. 25 wedding

Kristy Renee Funk and Denny Franklin Anderson II, both of Hillsboro, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Their parents are Denny and Patti Anderson of Gonzales, La., Norman and Carolan Funk of Marion and Viola and Ray Lohrentz of Hillsboro.

The bride-elect graduated from Hillsboro High School and earned a degree in music business from Tabor College.

The groom-to-be graduated from Meridian High School and American Builders and Contractors. He is employed with USA Contractors of Oklahoma City and owns an Internet-based business.

The couple plan to be married Sept. 25 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.

Dirks, Petersen to marry June 26

Allison Joy Dirks and Robbie Glen Petersen, together with their parents, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Their parents are Dwight and Carol Dirks of Durham and Glen and Deb Petersen of Fairmont, Neb.

The bride-elect graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2000 and is attending the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

The groom-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Exeter High School. He earned a degree in agricultural sciences from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 2003 and farms near Exeter.

The couple will be married June 26 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.

Schroeder, Mendenhall to wed in July

The parents of Janell Schroeder and Don Mendenhall announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, both of South Hutchinson.

The couple’s parents are Ken and Peggy Schroeder of Hillsboro, Delbert Mendenhall of Hutchinson and the late Janice Mendenhall.

The bride-elect is a coordinator at Interfaith Housing Services Inc.

The groom-to-be is a machinist at Consolidated Manufacturing.

The couple plan to be married in late July in Hutchinson.
