Disappearance solved day after departure

The disappearance of a 47-year-old Hillsboro woman March 22 was solved the following day when she called home from Colorado.

Delores Johnson of Hillsboro was reported missing Monday morning after she did not report to work and did not respond to an ambulance call as an Emergency Medical Service team captain.

Reports of her disappearance were broadcast on area television stations by early evening.

Johnson told authorities she had left Hillsboro for personal reasons. She was back in town by the end of the week.
