Burton, Haslett celebrate marriage

Collette Marie Burton and Jeffrey Leroy Haslett were married Aug. 2 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Hill City with Father Don McCarthy officiating.

Parents of the couple are Albert and Lee Burton of Hill City and Gary and Patty Helsel of Syracuse.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents.

Matron of honor was Courtney Zohner, sister of the bride. Best man was Luke Pauly, friend of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Carey Burton, sister of the bride, Jessica Luck, friend of the bride and Amy Burton, sister-in-law of the bride.

Flowergirls were Abby Burton, niece of the bride and Elyssa Carr, cousin of the groom. The bride’s attendant was Sara Albrecht.

Groomsmen were Shane Haslett, brother of the groom, Kyle Humphrey, friend of the groom, and Casey Finlay, friend of the groom.

Ushers were Corey and Caleb Burton, brothers of the bride, and Daniel Timm and Tony Malleck, both friends of the groom.

Candlelighters were Kaleb and Kolton Dickerson, friends of the groom.

The bride graduated from Hill City High School and Fort Hays State University. She is a third-grade teacher in Argonia.

The groom graduated from Syracuse High School and Fort Hays State University. He is a physical-education teacher and coach in Argonia.

Following a honeymoon is Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Argonia.
