Trojans defeat Hutch Trinity 54-36

The Hillsboro Trojans jumped on top of the Hutch Trinity Celtics 13-0 and cruised to an easy 54-36 win in the first round of the Hillsboro sub-state Monday night in Hillsboro.



Hillsboro led 35-16 at halftime, but struggled through a four point third quarter on their way to the 18-point win.



Tyler Peachey led the Trojans with 16 points while Eric Weinbrenner had 12 and Caleb Marsh added 11.



With the win, the Trojans improve their record to 18-3 for the season and will tangle with the winner of the Wichita Trinity-Southeast of Saline matchup on Thursday night in Hillsboro.
