The 15th ranked Tabor College Bluejays traveled to Alva Oklahoma Saturday and were defeated by 5th ranked Northwest Oklahoma 63-21.

Tabor actually led 6-0 after the Bluejays took the opening kickoff and drove 60 yards in just six plays. Ricky Ishida punched the ball into the end zone from four yards out to put Tabor on top.

But the celebration was short lived as the Rangers returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown and Northwest led 7-6, a lead they would never relinquish.

The Rangers rolled up 511 yards of total offense to just 195 for the Bluejays.

Tabor also turned the ball over six times, three on fumbles and three on interceptions to aid the Northwest cause.

With the loss, Tabor College concludes a magical season with a 9-2 record.
