Warriors keep rolling

Steven Boone rolled up 188 yards on 28 carries and scored four touchdowns on runs of 13, 5, 4, and 12 yards to lead Marion to a 56-14 thrashing of the Bluestem Lions.

Marion racked up 391 yards of total offense in a game they led 36-14 at halftime.

Quarterback Clayton Chamberland also scored twice on runs of three and 18 yards.

With the district victory, Marion moves their overall record to 7-1 and 2-0 in district play.

Next up will be a road trip to Eureka next Thursday night. Eureka defeated Marion last season.
