Tabor crushes Bethany 41-12

The 17th ranked Tabor College Bluejays scored an easy 41-12 victory over the Bethany Swedes in Lindsborg Saturday.



Ricky Ishida threw for 258 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Bluejays.



Tyler Marsh had 12 catches for 196 yards and Tyson Ratzlaff caught three touchdowns to lead the receivers.



Cameron Conant rushed for 115 yards and Dwayne Cleaves rushed for 108 yards as the Bluejays rolled up 513 yards of total offense.



Meanwhile, the Bluejay defense stifled the normally high powered Swedes limiting them to just 73 yards rushing and only 187 yards of total offense.



With the victory, the Bluejays improve to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the K.C.A.C.



Bethany falls to 1-3.



Tabor will host Friends University next Saturday in their 2003 Homecoming game, with halftime ceremonies scheduled to retire the jersey of former-Bluejay and former NFL all-pro Bay Lawrence.

Game time is 2:00.
