Julia Schroeder and Jared Jost were married Aug. 23 at Balko Mennonite Brethren Church in Balko, Okla. with pastor Willis Busenitz, uncle of the bride, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Wes and Glenda Schroeder of Perryton, Texas. The groom is the son of Cal and Tam Jost of Hillsboro.

Maids of honor were Jana Schroeder and Jill Schroeder, sisters of the bride. Best-man honors were shared by Matt Jost and Andrew Jost, brothers of the groom.

Bridesmaid was Sue Baker, sister of the groom. Flower girl was Kaetlon Roberts, cousin of the bride.

Groomsman was David Baker, brother-in-law of the groom. Ring bearer was Bailey McGarraugh, cousin of the bride.

Ushers were Chris Hofer, Dustin Hofer, Bryce Wiebe and Jay Collinsworth, all cousins of the bride.

Guestbook attendant was Angela Kroeker, friend of the couple.

Musicians were organist Vicki Smith and vocalist Jonah Kliewer, relatives of the bride.

The bride carried a bouquet of burgundy calla lilies.

The reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony and hosted by Howard and Sonja Frantz, friends of the bride.

Reception assistants were Lucius and Megan Duerksen, Logan Duerksen, Lyndal Duerksen, Kyle Funk and Darla Funk, all relatives of the groom.

The bride graduated from Collinsville High School in 1994, from Tabor College in 1998 and from Oklahoma State University in 2001. She is a private vocal and piano instructor.

The groom graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1996 and Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1998. He is funeral director at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel.

The rehearsal dinner was held on Aug. 22 at the Schroeder family ranch in Perryton.

Following a cruise to Alaska, the couple resides in Hillsboro.
